Part of the international series Corpus Vasorum Antiquorum (CVA), this volume is a comprehensive catalogue of the Attic red-figure cups in the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology (including some cups on loan). Around forty cups, some by well-known vase-painters such as Makron, Onesimos, the Foundry Painter, and the Penthesilea Painter, are given full descriptions with extensive comparanda, bibliography, and provenance information, as well as drawings and photographs.
